Minus the button there, minus the connector here, that's the savings in production! We're talking about millions of devices. How does a button behave in real life? Here, as before, there is a fingerprint sensor, it works instantly, there are very few errors, I advise you to assign several fingers to unlock for greater convenience. Cons - If you are used to a physical button and cannot accept innovation, then you need to stay with the iPhone 6 / 6S.

Further, most likely, it will be even more interesting. Apple may well remove all buttons from the case. Touchpads at the ends, automatic volume control, multiple assignments for the Home button, tapping, strong and weak touches - this is what will happen in the near future with the iPhone. You can laugh, you can judge, but before you do, take a look at the Home button on the iPhone 7. You know, it works great!

The 3.5 mm jack was rejected for the same reasons. Minus one element - plus space, plus protection from water, dust, plus a boost to the entire stagnant wired headphone industry, plus a boost for Bluetooth. Apple is very good at cutting off unnecessary things.

Despite the incomplete protection, the device is able to withstand a lot - my friend and I bathed the 7 Plus in a vase of water for twenty minutes, took a photo, called, nothing happened.

The pouring rain, the games by the sea, the girls will surely like that after falling into the toilet, the iPhone 7 will continue to work as if nothing had happened. Previously, a strong press brought up an additional menu of actions, now it is even better in a number of programs - the screen works in conjunction with the Taptic Engine. For example, when you set the timer and turn the wheel, a gear moves under the pad of your finger, the memories of the "jog wheel" in Sony phones immediately come to life. The sensation is very interesting and unexpected - in fact, it is not the screen that vibrates, but the motor below. Some games and other programs have the same effects. In general, traditionally for Apple, while some are chasing insane brightness and acid colors, they work here at the level of emotions, sensations - it's hard to give up these chips. And it is also difficult to reproduce it somewhere else - here the connection between hardware and software is at an incredible level.

If you suddenly decide to use films or glass, I recommend Just Mobile products - there are practically invisible accessories with an interesting technology of "self-healing" of scratches, they tighten.

Audio

I'll tell you the main thing right away, if you use the original Lightning adapter, then control buttons and a microphone work with any headset with MFi (Made for iPhone / iPad) certification. That is, this small adapter reproduces the CTIA pinout. Moreover, a DAC was also found there, so a whole field for experiments begins here - especially for hybrid headphones that support both Bluetooth and cable connections. I think more and more manufacturers of accessories will show adapters for Lightning, and so a new necessary thing for Apple products has quietly appeared.

As for the headset EarPods with Lightning - a convenient and good mass product, it is very good to find such headphones in the kit. In general, good sound quality, comfortable control, a very good microphone, it is quite possible to walk with such headphones every day, especially if you are not an audiophile.

There is also a sound recording, built-in microphones for conversation, a megaphone and the ability to connect two speakers in a stereo pair. A cool thing, as it was and remains, I highly recommend it.

• Parrot Zik 2, also not the first fresh thing, but for the iPhone 7 Plus these are generally one of the best headphones. Excellent software, active noise cancellation, sound quality can be adjusted within any limits, work offline for a long time, touch control. • Bang & Olufsen BeoPlay H5, I am finishing my review of headphones, a very interesting thing, as if specially created for the seven. Great design, great application with an interestingly made system of equalizer presets, a convenient cradle for charging, and, in general, you will see how compact and cute the device is. There is no disappointment in sound, everything is very good with the iPhone 7 Plus, I go with the H5 even more than I should - I'm already used to it. There is also a pink version for girls, a green one was recently introduced. I plan to pay attention to all owners of sevens.
