Features of the

1. Download and unpack the texture archive. Open the image to which we want to add a texture in Photoshop. By simply dragging and dropping a texture from a folder into Photoshop, apply the texture over the image (a new layer is automatically created).

2. Stretch the texture.

3. There can be several textures, depending on the size of the image and the desired result.

4. Turn off the visibility of the background (bottom) layer.

5. Uniting visible layers- a group of superimposed textures, excluding the background image whose visibility is disabled in the previous step.

6. Change the blending parameters of the resulting texture layer to "Lighten".

7. Adjust the "Levels" of this layer (located in the "Image-Adjustment-Levels ..." tab).

8. Change the transparency and fill parameters ...

9. If the noise is too much or it is superimposed where it is not necessary - just wipe it with an eraser.

In reality, the whole process will not take more than a couple of minutes ...

Another portion of grunge textures. This time, these are textures with scratches, streaks, noise, smudges and other dust. It is good to use such textures as auxiliary materials for aging the main surface. It is enough to put such a texture on top of the overlap, adjust the transparency of the layer, and the original image acquires a unique grungy flavor, which enlivens the design very advantageously. The scratches below are mainly of wall origin, there are also scratches on the paper, scratches on the metal surface.

In order to download the texture you like, click on the corresponding picture. A new window will open a page where several sizes will be available for download. To do this, click on the Actions button, then select View all sizes from the drop-down menu, select the desired texture size and save the picture to your computer. We also pay attention to the type of license near the picture.
